Our flexibility allows us to tailor a driving course to a customer’s specific needs.
Surrey is a popular county for our advanced driving courses, catering to both private customers and business clients. We have full UK coverage and will come to you for the training, anywhere in the UK.
We provide bespoke advanced/defensive driver training to companies and private individuals using our national network of DVSA-registered advanced driving instructors.
No two drivers are the same, which is why we have created a range of course options to fit your needs:
3.5hr – Mostly opted for by business customers when training a number of drivers back-to-back. It’s also open to private customers too who only need a shorter course. The 3.5-hour course is our shortest course available.
3.5 hours x 2 – If you don’t fancy a full day but want to cover more than a 3.5-hour session, then this split course is great. The 2 sessions can be split over a few days or weeks. Sometimes we can run this course over 2 days.
7-hour full day – Intensive in its nature. However, it is a great way to complete the course in one day. It’s certainly tiring, but a great option for those pressed for time.
We offer more specialist courses for drivers, including 3, 4, and 5 x 3.5-hour courses. Mainly designed for private customers but also open to business clients for specific at-risk drivers.
Our Range of Courses:
Our tailored driving courses include a variety of formats, including:
* Company driver training – for van and car drivers in your fleet
* Young drivers – Confidence-building sessions for younger or newly qualified drivers
* Pre-court driving courses – speeding and other pending convictions.
* High-powered vehicle training
* Confidence driving courses
* Motorhome confidence courses – Focused training to build confidence driving larger leisure vehicles
* Advanced and defensive courses – bespoke to your needs
* Motorway confidence training – Helping drivers feel safer and more in control on motorways
* UK Familiarisation – for drivers new to the UK
Training Format:
We can offer driving courses in Surrey on a 2:1 basis, where one driver is trained in the morning for 3.5 hours and the other in the afternoon for the same duration. Alternatively, we can provide a full-day (7-hour) session for one driver. Please contact us for a full quote. We have many tutors located in and around Surrey who can provide advanced driver training for business and private customers.
We can start a training session from a client’s office, although if required, we can start from another location (i.e. a home address). Some of our clients based in London are often taken out into Surrey due to the mix of rural and urban roads, and the fact that, unlike London, they are not stuck in traffic for too much of the course duration.

Remember – All of our on-road driving courses are bespoke to your own needs. This relates to both business and private customers
For all our bespoke driving courses in Surrey, we provide training on a range of roads and different areas, which can include:
Motorway training – Motorway training in Surrey is very popular for helping drivers overcome their worries when using faster routes. The M3 joins the M25 at Thorpe, this is an excellent route for getting to grips with all aspects of motorway training, from entering and exiting to advanced forward planning techniques that can help you identify issues much earlier than you may be used to. From the M25 and on to the M23 at Horley, we can create a course that will encircle the fast routes, including the A3 through Guildford and Farnham. There are many reasons people are nervous when using motorways, the higher traffic, the speed of the motorways and the large HGV lorries that can box you in. Our training will help you use motorways with greater confidence and show you how to cope with any situation that may arise when driving at speed.
Rural Roads – Surrey is a beautiful area located southwest of London, and many locals and visitors to the area will encounter issues when driving through the county. Rural driving is a skill that can be easily taught. But rural roads are dangerous. The Bagshot Road between Cobham and Guildford is a particularly hazardous route with a high incidence of accidents. We can utilise routes like this to train drivers in safer rural driving.
Urban Training – The largest towns in Surrey are Guildford and Farnham, and we have trained many drivers in urban driving. Busy town driving can be frustrating, especially during rush hours and diversions, and it always seems to be the busiest routes with roadworks. Advanced driver training can give you all the tools you need to navigate such areas. The centre of Guildford, for example, is encircled by the A246 and the A3100, and we have utilised these roads to help drivers navigate through traffic with confidence. Many extra precautions are necessary when using busy town routes, such as being vigilant for cyclists and pedestrians and learning to anticipate the actions of other road users, including the use of bus and taxi lanes.
During a session, we typically look at:
* Forward planning and observation
* Speed Awareness
* Developing a positive attitude towards safer driving
* How to become a safer driver on all roads
* Car or van control (gears, steering, foot controls, signals)
* Rules of the road
* Dealing with road rage
* Reversing and manoeuvres
* Dealing with adverse weather
* Town and urban defensive driving
* Driving in heavy traffic and allowing adequate space
* Skid control theory and learning what causes skids
* Eco-safe driving (effective use of speed, gears, planning)
* Anticipation – Learning to see and not just look
* Understanding other road users and their intentions
