ARDS - Association of Racing Drivers Schools

To gain your racing licence you will need to attend an ARDS approved school. ARDS stands for The Association of Racing Drivers Schools. These schools have extensive facilities and highly-trained ARDS instructors who will be able to teach you all you need to know.

One Day ARDS Training from £365.

We work in partnership with the very best ARDS trainers in the UK at the most prestigous and well known racing circuits. We understand that each potential racing driver has their own needs and requirements. If you are looking for ARDS training, then please email us at:

info@driversdomainuk.com

Please outline your location and requirements, and you will be sent further information on one of our training circuits we work with.

The ARDS Training we offer includes:

* Safety & driving technique briefing
* Personal on-track tuition in a Lotus
* Car Control Briefing
* Car Control Session
* Lunch Break (a packed lunch is provided)
* ARDS briefing
* Written test
* Advanced car control
* ARDS driven assessment & debrief

Sorry - the women are not included!

We also offer exclusive training packages for people serious about becoming a potential professional racing driver. These courses are a great deal more expensive than ARDS training. For information on these courses please email us.

When getting your racing licence you will start out with a National B type. This indicates you are a novice and you will need to display a black cross (6in long and 1in wide) on the back of your car with a yellow background (7in x 7in) for around 10 races (you gain a signature for each race covered). You then progress up to a National A licence.
